Web Design - Web Development - WordPress

The Run down

We were gratefully allowed to work alongside the owners of a beloved local staple, Highland Pizzeria. The lead web developer, Justin Watson, was in charge of this project. Justin was able to implement web development, design, and routinely interacted with the client to understand the goals of the site.

The purpose of this project was to build a website from scratch using WordPress that gave the look and feel of a sport-themed pub restaurant. GLFX Studios utilized the expertise of photographer Anthony Burgos to capture the mouth-watering food so it could be beautifully showcased on the site.

Quality Alongside
Quantity

From over 20 beers on tap to a newly added bar, and a plethora of delicious food, Highland Pizzeria shows that quality and quantity can coexist. Owned by Doug Pagan and his wife, Argy Pagan, this duo comes together to make a compelling example of how teamwork should look. Highland Pizzeria also has two dining options available: sitting inside to watch the game or the lovely newly-added outdoor seating. A place of fun, they also offer live entertainment or trivia nights to attend.

Highland
Restaurant & Bar

Highland Pizzeria is all about variety. The landing page shows the 20 beers they have on tap and a quick access menu of the hottest food selections from their menu. The landing page also presents the main selling points the client felt was the most important. This venue is about sports, beer, good food, and great entertainment.

The client’s enthusiasm for hosting live entertainment was a greatly desired element they wanted to promote to consumers. To accomplish this we included an events calendar so customers could visit the website and view all upcoming events.

Mobile Ready Websites

Mobile.
Ready.

Like the majority of our sites, this site was designed with mobile in mind. We wanted to give the user a flawless experience when they switched from desktop, tablet, and then to mobile. The navigation icon is one of the key elements to making this possible and gets the user acquainted with the menu icon to ensure a similar experience. Lastly, we utilized our custom-built grid layout, so when it reaches the mobile view, it quickly responds to that size.

The Final
Product

Our goal is to give every client a smooth creative experience throughout the project. Keeping the client engaged and informed throughout the design and development process is crucial. The black and yellow colors gave the site a modern approach and fit the aesthetics of a restaurant pub. Our goal is to give every client a smooth creative experience throughout the project.
